I keep hearing the word “infrared” being thrown around in reference to hair dryers. I’ll be honest I had no idea what it meant. Sure, I know my remote control connects to my television via infrared something or other, but I really didn’t know how to explain the application on my hairdryer (or my TV remote for that matter).
From what I’ve learned, it means the heat dries the inside of your hair before the outside. So, like the infrared on your remote can go through things, the infrared heat on your dryer goes through your hair to make it dry faster.
That makes sense right? Regardless, a technology that can make my hair dry faster is awesome in my book as long as it doesn’t leave me with toasted strands after the fact. Well, the Babyliss Pro BABTT5585 Tourmaline Titanium 3000 Dryer does just that. It can go through the strands to dry from the inside out and stop frizz as it goes.
