First, a pretty impressive set of VIZIO engineers consisting
of a sound bar and a subwoofer, with two rear speakers.
They are all well designed and constructed; butts are wired
and the submarine is wireless. The soundbar has a decent size port to disperse
the back waves which can otherwise cause distortion.
This soundbar houses a full pair of left and right for
center front positioning. They have good balance and definition, and they don't
work too much because the dedicated subwoofer takes over.
These soundbars support a multitude of technologies,
including DTS TruSurround, DTS TruVolume and DTS Studio Sound. It has wireless
LAN and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as USB, optical, HDMI, and ARC.
Its SmartCast function allows you to easily control audio
directly from your mobile device by downloading the SmartCast app. The audio equalizer can be adjusted remotely in the app, which means you can tailor the
soundbars to your preferences for a variety of listening styles, including TV,
movies, and music.
Benefits:
+ Subwoofer with a dedicated port.
+ Decent rear speakers.
+ The best quality of construction.
+ SmartCast remote application.
Why we liked it: It's an affordable 5.1 setup with a capable a soundbar that offers a variety of connections and supports a variety of
surround sound technologies.
